Eat & Greet

This is a time of breakfast and fellowship starting at 9:45 AM until service starts. Donuts, coffee, juice and seating are available right inside the door off of the parking lot.

Childrens Ministry

On Sunday mornings we offer Children's Worship for three different age groups: preschool, elementary, and preteen. Children stay in service until they are dismissed after the music portion. Children's Worship includes music & worship time, Bible time, and Bible memorization, as well as a craft for the two younger groups. There is nursery care available for infants and toddlers. If you have questions about our children’s ministry, contact Isabella Stutzman by clicking the arrow.

We have two discipleship ministries, Disciple Invest Grow (D.I.G.) and Confirmation/Discipleship class. D.I.G. is for kids ages 5-16 to be paired with an adult mentor who will pray for, disciple, and engage with them regularly.

Confirmation/Discipleship class is for students ages 10-15 to learn important faith basics. Class is every Sunday at 9 AM starting on January 21st.

If you have questions about our discipleship ministries, contact Isabella Stutzman by clicking the arrow.

Piano Lesson

Music Ministry

Our church has a music team that practices and plays every Sunday and a bell choir that plays for Easter and Christmas. On a regular Sunday, we have a pianist or an organist, but also have instruments available for a drummer or guitarist. If you'd like to participate in the music team or bell choir or perform special music during Sunday service, contact Isabella Stutzman by clicking the arrow.

Funeral Dinners

First Reformed Church offers funeral dinners for our church family. A standard meal consists of roasted chicken, green beans, cheesy potatoes, a variety of desserts, rolls, and drinks. A sign-up genius is posted to our Facebook group each time for volunteers to serve and people to donate the needed items for the meal. If you have any questions regarding this outreach, please contact Mara Jo Williams by clicking the arrow.

Bread and Butter

Bread of Life

Bread of Life is an outreach ministry which provides meals/food during times of illness, birth of a child, or a death. Meals are delivered to you. Contact the church office with information so that a member can contact you and assist with your needs, or contact the office if you'd like to volunteer.

Outdoor Food Pantry

There is an outdoor food pantry on the church premises at the northeast corner of the building by the office door off of Marion Street. It is open 24 hours every day and is filled with food, personal hygiene items, and seasonal items (hats, gloves) etc. We are happy to offer this to our community. If you have any questions about the pantry, contact Leslie Neuenschwander by clicking the arrow.

Sunset Reading

Sunday School

Every Sunday, there are Sunday School classes available for kids and adults at 9:15 AM. A senior class meets in room S3 next to the sanctuary. Another adult class meets in the Fellowship Hall, and kids meet on the second floor in the Children's Worship room. We do not have class on most holiday weekends, Spring Break, Fall Break, or the month of July. If you have questions about Sunday school, contact the church office by clicking the arrow below.

Pre-Martial Counseling

Pre-marital counseling is conducted prior to the marriage ceremony. Counseling provides opportunities for both individuals to explore many different subject matters and openly discuss relationships with one another, helping to find ways to strengthen the marriage before it begins. There are usually four to six sessions, meeting once a week.
